Bengaluru, Feb 2 (IANS) A recent row erupted in Karnataka over the alleged removing of Hanuman Dhwaja (flag) with the Congress-led state authorities warning of authorized motion over provocative posts on the matter, whereas the BJP criticised the Siddaramaiah-led authorities, saying there was an undeclared emergency within the state.
District Commissioner and Superintendent of Police in Mandya district have issued an order on this regard. “The flag submit difficulty that occurred in Keragodu village in Mandya district is a delicate matter. On this regard, whoever it could be authorized motion can be initiated on those that put up photos which is able to disturb peace in society, movies, provocative statements on social media corresponding to X, FaceBook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Youtube and others. Case can be registered towards those that ship them and who provoke it. The district administration is preserving a strict vigil on this regard on social media,” the order issued on Friday learn.
Reacting to this, LoP and senior BJP chief R. Ashoka claimed there was an undeclared emergency within the state.
“The Congress authorities which is dealing with ire of Hindus following the removing of Hanuman Dhwaja in Keragodu of Mandya is displaying the specter of regulation and gag the individuals. There may be an undeclared emergency state of affairs within the state on daily basis. What are Congress leaders who vehemently proclaim that democracy is below menace doing in Karnataka? Mr. CM Siddaramaiah, in case your authorities has scant respect and honour, take again the order instantly. Confess to the guilt and apologize earlier than Hindus.
