“Deeply saddened by the unlucky demise of Mr. Uma Satya Sai Gadde, an Indian pupil in Cleveland, Ohio,” it mentioned in a submit on X.
Police investigations are on and efforts are underway to ship the physique to India, the consulate mentioned, including that it continues to stay in contact with the household in India.
“All attainable help is being prolonged together with to move Mr. Uma Gadde’s mortal stays to India on the earliest.”
There was a spate of deaths of scholars from India and of Indian descent in current weeks. Though unrelated, they’ve raised issues in India and the Indian American group.
