Beirut, April 14 (IANS) Lebanon has introduced the closure of the Lebanese airspace to aviation as a result of Iranian drone assault on Israel.
“The Lebanese airspace has been closed to all plane arriving, departing, and crossing Lebanese airspace, briefly and as a precaution, as of 1 a.m. on Sunday till 7 a.m.,” the Lebanese Minister of Public Works and Transport Ali Hamieh mentioned on Saturday night.
Iran has launched dozens of unmanned aerial autos (UAVs) towards Israel which arrived within the Israeli airspace within the early hours of Sunday, Xinhua information company reported.
In the meantime, Hezbollah introduced early Sunday that its fighters focused the Israeli Kela barracks with dozens of Katyusha rockets within the occupied Syrian Golan.
Hezbollah mentioned in an announcement that it launched its assault in response to the Israeli enemy’s assaults on secure villages and cities in southern Lebanon.
